Lakshmanacharya

Lakshmanacharya is a convertor tool which converts between English and Sourashtra script.
The name , Lakshmanacharya , is given as a tribute to Panditha Chathurvedi Lakshmanacharyaar who is the pioneer in Sourashtra script.
Lakshmanacharya takes english script as input and convert it to equal phonetic in Sourashtra. And it takes Sourashtra script as input and convert it to equal phonetic in English alphabet.

Why we need Lakshmanacharya
|

The keyboard which we use normally has keys for english letters only. Since Indian language including Sourashtra language are stored using different format called Unicode in computer, we need some special tool to print the Indian languages. There are few applications available for the languages which are spoken by majority of the people. Google Transliteration is the best example for these kind of application.
To enable writing Sourashtra in a lucid way in Computers, few steps have been taken. Lakshmanacharya is one of them.

Why do I see english alphabet when I select Sureshu Sourashtra option
|
|
If your computer does not have Sureshu Font installed, you will see English alphabet in Sourashtra box. Install the Sureshu font and re-open the browser.

no link is working fine here.
and the sourashtra font given (sourashtra.otf) file is corrupted this is not installing.
Please address this issue to the admin.
